It is an exceptional cultural event of the Hungarian art scene to exhibit the modern Hungarian painting’s greatest works in the summer of 2013 in Rome, in one of the leading national public collections of European modernity, the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea. The exhibition, organized by the Hungarian National Gallery shows a representative selection of 110 masterpieces of Hungarian painting from the period between 1905 and 1925 from the most important museums and private collections.
