    Text: Imre Makovecz

An architect who designs and builds houses for people, whether they are family homes, apartment buildings, offices, or train stations, designs a world that, through its form, use of materials, and functions, speaks to people in the spirit of the place, to their immediate, personal, and often unconscious needs, and shapes them. (…)
Peaton writes that the catastrophe of Atlantis was caused by people learning about and possessing the forces of growth. They used this power to shape their environment. This is how their stone statues came to life, how they were able to “move” into the trees, which began to grow (see Shakespeare, see Celtic tradition), and how their giant, swaying towers collapsed and sank into the depths of the sea when the balance between life and the inorganic world was disrupted. What would our resounding towers above our churches remember? Human memory and foresight are immeasurable. The Creator created us in his own image and likeness, and Jesus connected that image to the Heavenly World. This is our task.
