On October 7th, architects celebrated the Architects’ World Day. The programmes held all day long included lectures and discussions, this year’s diploma ceremony, as well as several other programmes of this year, such as the opening of the international exhibition titled Iconic Ruins which surveys and presents the architectural heritage of the social realist era of the V4 countries. The closing event of the day was the awards ceremony of the Medal for Architecture which went to Czech architect Jan Stempel this year.
