On the occasion of the celebration of the founding of the Hungarian State, prestigious state awards were traditionally presented this year to professionals in the field of culture. Amongst the representatives of the architectural profession, Dr. Anthony John Gall, Ybl Miklós Ybl Prize-winning architect, architectural historian, professor, dean of the Ybl Miklós Faculty of Architecture at Óbuda University, and an initiated researcher of the work of Károly Kós, László Tamándl, architect, economist, President of Széchenyi István University, in charge of university developments and tenders, Associate Professor at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economy, and Dr. Péter Csizmadi DLA architect, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries of Budapest Metropolitan University were awarded the Hungarian Cross of Merit.
