For the Architectural Photo Contest of MÉSZ and MÉK

This autumn the Association of Hungarian Architects (MÉSZ), the Open Society of Architectural Photographers and the Hungarian Chamber of Architects jointly published the tender titled “The Architectural Photo of the Year”. Although there had been no tender in Hungary before with this title, it is far from being totally unprecedented, as the periodical Hungarian Architectural Art (Magyar Építőművészet) has published and organized successful photo contests on this topic twice. The exhibition of the photos selected by the jury create unique atmosphere: I could even say that whilst talking about architecture all the time images here show human histories and destinies (the ways and lives of creative artists) not personal because of the presence or absence of certain characters but because of the ways of approaching and treating them.
