The New Workshop Buildings of the Piarist Professional School in Göd

The Piarist Professional School started its life on a beautiful site in Göd. The buildings taken over for educational purposes make up a troubled complex of dubious values as the mould of the past decades: the group of pavilions, structures housing workshops and educational units erected in the park of the historicizing villa is painfully useless for architecture. In this familiar chaos the intention to make order is already worthy of appreciation, whilst the repeated cooperation of the Piarists and architect János Golda suggests promising future. Erected on the western end of the area, the new building of the workshops represents the same reality with its spirituality. However, it was now possible here to realize a more complex architectural composition.
