When the Imre Makovecz Foundation started their work, they set themselves the goal of creating a digital database that would contain, organize, and thus make searchable all of Imre Makovecz’s plans, graphic works, writings, and objects that could be found and were available in the Archive, as well as audio and video recordings about him and presenting him. As a result, the Makovecz Center and Archive’s „research station” began operating in 2021, contributing to the preservation of the architect’s spirit and organic thinking by making the digitized and processed material of his legacy available to everyone. Also in 2021, a set of thematic exhibition panels organized around eight themes was completed, which any of the galleries or towns can borrow, independently of their size.
