The concept of BEE (built environment education) has been known in Hungary since the 1980s. During summer camps and recreation activities a large number of architects deal with an integrated approach and huge energies, as well as with methodologies of an increasing degree of awareness. Several times they had launched initiating university trainings targeted to blend analytical and creative work processes concerning the educational environment, spatial competencies and deepening the knowledge acquired about architecture. In May, 2019 the building of the Budapest University of Technology hosted an international conference with the participation of 16 countries of the teams of UIA Architecture and Children.
